Durum kategorisi en eski gramer kategorilerinden biridir. Türk dillerindeki uzun tarihsel gelişimin bir sonucu olarak gerek fonetik yapı gerekse durum eklerinin sayısı bir ölçüde değişmiştir. Bu değişim, farklılaşma sürecinde her dilin kanunları içinde kolaylık ve sadelik yönünde olmuştur. Bu makalede 13.-14. yüzyıllara ait \"Codex Cumanicus\"un dilindeki durum kategorisi kapsamlı bir araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada ağırlıklı olarak betimsel yöntem, aynı zamanda tarihsel ve karşılaştırmalı yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Makalede, \"Codex Cumanicus\" adlı eserden örnekler, eserin orijinal nüshasının tıpkıbasımından seçilerek parantez içinde transkripsiyonu ve Azerbaycan Türkçesine çevirisi verilmeye çalışılmıştır. \"Codex Cumanicus\" incelemesi, Kuman-Kıpçak dilinin, özellikle yerel dilin kendine has özelliklerini gösterecek ve bu şekilde Türk dillerinde durum kategorisinin bugünkü durumuna gelen yolda genel olarak o dönemin durumunu yansıtacaktır. Aynı zamanda Türkolojide Kuman-Kıpçak dilinin ayırt edici özelliklerinin genelleştirilmesine yardımcı olacaktır.

Case category is one of the oldest grammatical categories. As a result of the long historical development in Turkic languages, both the phonetic composition and the number of case suffixes have changed to a certain extent. This change was in the direction of convenience and simplicity within the laws of each language in the process of differentiation. In this article, the case category in the language of the Kipchak monument of the 13th-14th centuries \"Codex Cumanicus\" is involved in extensive research. The research mainly used descriptive method, as well as historical and comparative methods. In the article, the examples from the work \"Codex Cumanicus\" were selected from the photofacsimile of the original copy of the monument, and then an attempt was made to give the transcription and translation into Azerbaijani Turkish in parentheses. The analysis of \"Codex Cumanicus\" will show the unique features of the Kuman-Kipchak language, especially the vernacular, and in this way it will reflect the situation of that period on the way to the present state of the case category in Turkic languages ​​in general. At the same time, in Turkological linguistics, it will help to generalize the distinguishing features of the Cuman-Kipchak language.
